Logar's big night helped the PowerHawks crush the Kings 7-2

Andrew Logar had a big night with 4 points (0 goals, 4 assists) as the Niagara Falls PowerHawks crushed the Skylands Kings 7-2 in a home game at Hyde Park Ice Pavillion in Niagara Falls. What's more, the Niagara Falls PowerHawks' offense had a big night, peppering Skylands with 39 shots throughout the game. The Niagara Falls PowerHawks took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Brandon Snyder and never looked back.

Frankie Bodami did his part, adding 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Evan Domiano contributed with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist).

In the first period, O’sullivan opened the scoring for Skylands with a goal at 6:29 with helpers from his linemates, Vanderhoff and Garrigan. Minichello quickly followed with a goal at 7:04 with helpers from teammates Logar and Tomassi. Domiano quickly followed with a goal at 8:31 with an assist from Tripi. Snyder quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 9:36 with assists from his linemates, Bodami and Domiano.

During the second, Tripi deposited a goal at 4:51 with helpers from his linemates, Logar and Minichiello.

In the third period, Domiano netted a goal at 1:05 with helpers from his linemates, Logar and Olszewski. Ford answered for Skylands with a goal at 9:37 with an assist from defenseman Dinzik. Bodami quickly followed with a goal at 11:08 with helpers from his linemates, Hrynczak and Snyder. Bodami scored a goal at 14:30 with assists from his linemates, Olszewski and Logar.

The PowerHawks’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Augustine as he stopped 24 of the 26 shots he faced. Augustine’s counterpart, Yttereng, also had a big night, managing to stop 6 of 6, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Niagara Falls PowerHawks’ record to (19-13-1-2).
