Lockport tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but New York held on for a 6-5 victory.

New York\’s offense rang up 40 shots on Lockport\’s net. New York found itself short handed often, totaling 42 penalty minutes and allowing five power plays. Team\’s forwards weren\’t the only contributers offensively, and the team\’s defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.
