In the second, Corey answered for Roc City with a goal at 5:37. Logar answered for the PowerHawks with a goal at 9:00 with a helper from his teammate Hrynczak. Leblanc answered for the Royals with a goal at 11:38 with an assist from Norris.
During the third period, Logar answered for Niagara Falls with a goal at 1:15 with helpers from Schweickert and Minichello. Domiano put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 14:40 with assists from Bodami and Schweickert. Snyder quickly followed with a goal at 16:28 with a helper from Hrynczak. Domiano quickly followed with a goal at 17:49.
The PowerHawks’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Mitchell’s big night as he stopped 30 of the 33 shots he faced. Mitchell’s counterpart, Peters, also had a big night, managing to stop 32 of 38, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Niagara Falls PowerHawks’ record to (17-13-1-1).
