Jersey Shore downs Lockport in overtime, 8-7 (OT)

Frederic Ampleman gave Jersey Shore an 8-7 (OT) victory over Lockport when he scored 48 seconds into the extra period.

Jersey Shore got the win with help from a great game by Ampleman, who had one goal and three assists.

Jersey Shore forced Lockport\’s goaltenders to work in net, getting 44 shots and forcing 36 saves. Sam Fitzpatrick made 30 stops and Sal Stalteri made six. Jersey Shore\’s normally stingy defense allowed more goals than usual. Jersey Shore gives up 2.5 goals per game. Jersey Shore took advantage of Lockport\’s penalties, tallying two goals off of three power play opportunities.
