NA3HL Announces Bauer Divisional Stars of the Week III

Honors go to Tyler Briley (La Crosse), James Brosnan (Cape Cod), Justin Bloomfield (West Michigan), Christian Ward (Missoula), Brandon Bornkamp (St. Louis), Blake Bennett (Lockport), Sascha Figi (Atlanta), and Jordan Olson (Granite City).

The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) announced today the Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey for the week ending January 22, 2017. The divisional stars of the week are an award given each week of the regular season to the top performing players in each of the eight divisions of the NA3HL as nominated by their head coaches.

Northeast Division Star of the Week: Blake Bennett, forward, Lockport Express
For the second time this season, Grand Island, NY native Blake Bennett has earned the Northeast Division Star of the Week. Bennett’s six-point performance included five goals (one game-winner, one on the power play), and an assist. The forward went +2 in a weekend sweep for Lockport. “Benny simply scores goals. His game winner on Saturday night was huge for us,” said General Manager and Head Coach Frank Vecchio.

2nd Star: Jake Beck, defenseman, Jersey Shore Wildcats
