Spencer Norris contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Brandon Corey chipped in with 2 assists.
In the first, Norris opened the scoring for Roc City with a goal at 6:12 with helpers from his linemates, Nowak and Corey. Wood netted a goal at 9:17 with a helper from fellow Royals forward Reid. Olszewski finally put Niagara Falls on the board with a goal at 11:56.
During the third, Minichello deposited a goal at 4:42 with an assist from his teammate Minichiello. Mueller netted a goal at 7:22 with helpers from his linemates, Villani and Hrynczak. Domiano quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 8:10 with assists from his linemates, Korpolinski and Tripi. Dobles answered for Roc City with a goal at 11:20 with helpers from teammates Norris and Corey.
Niagara Falls’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Heropoulas’ big night as he stopped 29 of the 32 shots he faced. On the other hand, Heropoulas’ counterpart, Peters, and the Royals’ defense did not have such a great night allowing 4 goals in 28 shots.
This win brings the Niagara Falls PowerHawks’ record to (25-19-1-2).
