The Niagara Falls PowerHawks struggled against the Binghamton Junior Senators allowing Ryan Reifler to score a hat trick as Niagara Falls crushed Binghamton 11-0 in a home game at Ice House Sports Complex in Niagara Falls. Furthermore, Brady Anderson posted a shutout, stopping all 8 of the PowerHawks shots throughout the game. The Binghamton Junior Senators took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Eric Melso and never looked back.

During the second period, Padgeon put in a goal at 1:35 with assists from Gresham and Dzhangarashev. Reifler quickly followed with a goal at 3:13 with helpers from Melso and O’connor. Simmons netted a goal at 10:24 with assists from Dearing and Dzhangarashev. Reifler deposited a goal at 19:52 with helpers from O’connor and Bogdziul.
During the third, Smith put in a goal at 6:41 with assists from Padgeon and Darling. Wilber scored a goal at 14:24 with helpers from Smith and Gresham. Padgeon quickly followed with a goal at 15:01 with assists from Lamorre and Smith.
