The PowerHawks struggled against the Vengeance 4-1 in home game

The Niagara Falls PowerHawks' defense had a poor night, allowing the Pittsburgh Vengeance 25 shots throughout the game. The Pittsburgh Vengeance took the lead late in the first on a goal from Devin Whitaker and never looked back.

In the first period, Polster opened the scoring for Pittsburgh with a goal at 12:25 with assists from teammates Soderberg and Servidio. Whitaker put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 16:20 with helpers from his linemates, Kubasek and Bates.

During the second period, Logar finally put Niagara Falls on the board with a goal at 17:00 with an assist from fellow PowerHawks forward Bodami. Martz quickly followed with a goal at 18:12 with a helper from Friedman.

In the third, Glavach deposited a goal at 11:38 with assists from Mezsargs and Oslick.
